Annual Township Cleanup Day

Usually held in June, this township-sponsored event helps our community members care for their Monroe Township property.
Every year it is a great success!
There are some limitations to this event:
-Township Resident and Property Owners Only.
-Expect to unload your own vehicle.
-Trash, rubbish, junk, & metals accepted.
-NO hazardous materials, paint, etc.
-Tires are accepted but ONLY if cut into quarter sections or smaller.

About Monroe Township Meetings
All meetings and events are held at the Monroe Township Hall and are open to the public.
For special accommodations to attend meetings, contact the Supervisor at least 24 hours prior to the meeting or event.

Open Meetings Act
Note: Public Act 528 of 2012, effective December 31, 2012, amended the Open Meetings Act requirements for special meeting notices (MCL 15.265). The notice of a special meeting or rescheduled regular meeting must be posted at least 18 hours prior to the meeting, and must be visible to the public for the full time it is posted.

American with Disabilities (ADA) Notice
The Township will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting/hearing upon seven (7) day notice to Monroe Township. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the Township Supervisor Michelle Mills at 231-250-9744
